As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and improving the performance of the Account management team on the beFood platform. Your role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key restaurant partners while ensuring that your team members achieve their performance and growth objectives
Key Responsibilities:
A. Account Team Management (70%):
- Monitor the performance of your team and provide leadership and motivation through technical and commercial knowledge.
- Communication transparency, having a healthy competitive mindset, and by acknowledging successes and failures accordingly.
- Provide training, coaching, and support to your team to increase productivity
- Manage Account teams including SME, Key Account, etc...
Operational Management:
- Oversee the resolution of operational issues that arise within the merchant segment.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
Relationship Building:
- Continuously engage top merchants and listen to their needs, collect and address feedback, and address concerns put forward.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners to secure their support for promotional programs and initiatives.
Data Analysis & Insights:
- Data analysis and gather insights on team performance and partner portfolio.
- Develop and implement growth strategies based on data-driven insights and ensure their effective execution.
B. Day-to-Day Activities with your direct strategic merchants (30%)
- Assess strategic and partnership opportunities via quantitative and qualitative analyses.
- Drive growth for key accounts, measured by deliveries and GMV, providing support and motivation.
- Engage with merchants to understand and address their needs.
- Work with functional teams for smooth merchant operations.
- Consult merchants to enhance productivity and partnership
Qualifications:
- Min 5-7+ years of experience in Sales or Business Development (management/lead level). Experienced in Food Delivery is a must
- Relevant BA/BS/BEng degree.
- Demonstrate a strong track record in project management and managing internal/external stakeholders locally and regionally.
- Proven ability to blend business, strategy, finance, and legal concepts to lead complex, multifaceted, win-win deals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Vietnamese and English is a must.
- Proven ability to work independently and effectively.
- Strong code of ethics and sound business judgment required.
- Good communication, presentation & negotiation skills.
