We are currently seeking an Expansion Lead to drive growth and expand our presence across cities throughout Vietnam. This role will focus on expanding our services into new cities, optimizing end-to-end conversion, and managing P&L expansion cities. Key Responsibilities
- Expansion Strategy as a Key Focus: Prioritize the expansion area, targeting a growth of 10x over the current scope. This will be a dedicated area cross-linked with existing verticals, such as car, taxi, bike, food and delivery services, given their provincial-specific requirements.
- Responsible for key metrics, creating actionable plans, monitoring dashboards, and coordinating efforts across all service verticals, which could include 4-wheel and 2-wheel depending on the city or province.
- Business Strategy and Leadership Alignment: Shape strategies, define value propositions, and identify growth opportunities to expand business, aligning them with Be Group‘s core vision and presenting them to senior leadership. For this position, incorporating regular site visits will be essential to gain an on-ground understanding of each province‘s unique demands and opportunities.
- Developing and Implementing Operational Processes: Establish and refine foundational processes to ensure seamless and efficient operations across all verticals.
- Data-Driven Problem Solving: Use data insights to analyze challenges, identify trends, and devise both immediate and long-term strategies that drive business growth.
- Operational Oversight and Improvements: Leverage strong operational skills to spot business opportunities and implement recommendations for ongoing improvements.
- P&L Accountability: Maintain budget adherence, ensuring all financial operations stay on target.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team including marketplace, marketing, product, business development, supply acquisition and engagement for planning and execution of campaigns to drive growth and customer engagement across services.
- Supply Acquisition for Demand Growth: Establish and scale acquisition channels to meet expanding demand across service lines.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in market expansion, with a focus on launching and scaling operations across multiple verticals and geographies.
- Experience with relevant commercial and product growth experience in industries such as FMCG, transport, logistics, or technology.
- Entrepreneurial and resourceful, capable of wearing multiple hats and maintaining a "can-do" attitude to achieve expansion targets.
- Proven ability to bridge and nurture relationships with local partners, regulators, and government authorities.
- Strong decision-making capabilities based on solid analytical thinking and data insights.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in mentoring and developing teams.
- In-depth understanding of the local market, with a strong network in transportation, logistics, or related industries.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel as needed.
- Relevant experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
