• Our core services consist hundreds of Golang microservices built around domain oriented, event driven architecture. All run on GCP, GKE, Istio with autoscaling, resiliency and chaos engineering mindset with full end to end observability.
• Our mobile platform was running on Flutter, component based, composable architecture. Web app largely on TypeScript, React, NextJS, Tailwind CSS and composable in-house design components and framework. 
• Gitlab for all code repository, CI/CD, with Backstage as centralized developer productivity platform.

The QA Automation Lead is responsible for leading and managing the QA automation team. This includes developing and executing test automation strategies, designing and creating automated tests, and mentoring and coaching junior QA engineers. The QA Automation Lead must have a strong understanding of test automation principles and practices, as well as experience with a variety of automation tools

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical direction by setting priorities and providing a vision for the automation team.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to team members, colleagues and/or Stakeholders
• Lead Automation Engineer team to create the test automation solutions/strategy for the projects
• Train and mentor Automation Engineer on proper selection, design and implementation of various Test Automation Frameworks, Tools, and Strategies.
• Works collaboratively with cross functional teams to understand product objectives, gather automation requirements, design automated tests, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalable test automation solutions.
• Identify areas for improved testing efficiencies, test automation and implementation of automated test solution.
• Drives the research, evaluation and implementation of automated testing tools and utilities
• Participate in meetings to discuss and agree on automation testing approach and follow it up in new automation test opportunities.

Requirements:

• A positive, optimistic, can-do attitude
• At least 5 years of professional experience testing and developing automated tests production software and systems (web apps, mobile apps, APIs)
• 2-3 years’ experience as a Lead or as QA Automation Lead
• Programing skill at least one language
• Experience with at least one version control system
• Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Is both a testing guru and automation coder

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, API Automation, and BDD
• Experience working with cloud technologies
• Strong debugging skills
